Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Dr. Melissa Schubert Johnson

Dr. Melissa Schubert Johnson serves as the Associate Provost of Undergraduate Education at Biola University. She has also served as the Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Associate Director of the Torrey Honors College. She has brought to each position a deep commitment to the development of biblically-centered, transformational Christian liberal arts education. The foundation of that vision was built over sixteen years of teaching in the Torrey Honors College, where she guided students through its interdisciplinary curriculum and mentored both students and faculty. Her research primarily investigates the dynamics of literature and theology in early modern English literature, and her interests range across genres, centuries, and practices that enrich the Christian life and imagination.

In her current role Dr. Johnson oversees the Undergraduate academic experience including the Core Curriculum as well all the operations of the Student Success division.
