The AI Lab is committed to partnering with impactful organizations since it enables us to grow our students, to empower them as leaders who integrate skill and faith. Through these partnerships, students gain hands-on experience while making a difference for the kingdom of God. It’s a win-win: we foster the next generation of innovative thinkers, advancing Biola’s mission to bring the love of Christ to the world.
Operation Christmas Child
The AI Lab teamed up with Operation Christmas Child (OCC) to help sort items for their 11 million annual shoeboxes. Using a large language model (LLM), we developed a system that quickly reviews item descriptions to ensure they meet OCC’s standards. This AI-driven solution makes packing more efficient, supporting OCC’s mission to share the gospel with millions of children worldwide.

Global Media Outreach
The AI Lab is working on two projects with Global Media Outreach (GMO), which shares the gospel in 13 languages. These projects focus on streamlining GMO’s outreach processes and exploring scalable AI solutions to expand their reach even further. By leveraging advanced tech, we’re helping GMO connect with more people around the world, efficiently and effectively spreading the gospel.

Ani Fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty in the Philippines through a spirit of compassion, generosity, and God's shalom.

Sacred Harvest Foundation is a Costa Mesa-based Christian philanthropic foundation dedicated to bringing God's shalom to communities in Orange County, Maui, and Mindanao, Philippines. Founded in 2003, they invest in Kingdom leaders and faith-based organizations through grant-making, coaching, and capacity building — empowering communities to flourish through holistic transformation.
Missional AI
Missional AI is a global movement exploring how AI can advance God's mission — from Bible translation and evangelism to discipleship and church leadership. They host the annual Global Missional AI Summit, bringing together Christian leaders, technologists and ministry innovators worldwide.
Sovereign's Capital
Sovereign's Capital is a faith-driven private equity and venture capital firm investing in companies led by Christian entrepreneurs, believing business can be a vehicle for both financial return and Kingdom impact. Their mission is simply to love God and love their neighbor through investing.
FaithTech
FaithTech is a global community of Christian tech professionals committed to building technology in a redemptive way — developing solutions that advance the gospel and serve the Church. Operating in cities worldwide, they also produce theological research on faith and emerging technology.
Exit Hours
Exit Hours is a startup founder community that supports entrepreneurs through in-person events, education, and funding, fostering a collaborative environment where founders can learn from each other and grow. Since 2022, over 150 companies have joined the community.
Gumshoe Ventures
Gumshoe Ventures is an LA-based venture studio that partners hands-on with early-stage founders, offering capital, strategic guidance, legal and financial support, and a founder community (Exit Hours) to help entrepreneurs build and scale their companies toward successful exits.
